TechTogether New York is a 2-day hackathon held at Columbia University from November 12-13th for people of marginalized genders hosted by community leaders across New York. To partake in this event, you must register here. Please refer to our Gender Inclusivity Policy before registering to make sure you are eligible.
Join us for two full days of skill-building and professional development workshops, networking with recruiters, and of course - fun activities like face masks. Each attendee has the option to work with a team to build a project like a website or mobile application with the support of our mentors. Whether it's your first hackathon or your 100th, everyone has something to learn and contribute at this event!
Requirements
You will have 2 minutes to present your project to each batch of judges, and an additional 2-3 minutes to answer any follow-up questions. Judging will be science fair style. We recommend doing a live demo of your project for your presentation. If your project is not functional, we recommend creating a short PowerPoint describing your project for the judges.
